Thanks to the latest Zigbee 3.0 protocol, the M1S Gen 2 supports all existing and new Aqara devices. Zigbee 3.0 technology improves the stability, compatibility and responsiveness of the hub and its child devices.

2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi Antenna and WAP3 Support

To ensure the best possible wireless connection of dozens of sensors and controllers, the Aqara Hub M1S Gen 2 is equipped with a more powerful 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi antenna. Also, the M1S Gen 2 supports WAP3, the latest Wi-Fi security specification, which will further protect your data.

Built-in 2-Watt Speaker

Equipped with a powerful 2-watt speaker, the Aqara Hub M1S Gen 2 can be used as an alarm or doorbell as well as via configurable automations, and for now custom ringtones are supported to play uploaded recordings. Apart from the Aqara Alert System, the hub supports all 4 HomeKit alarm modes.

RGB Light and Illumination Sensor

The M1S Gen 2 also has a built-in RGB light made of 18 powerful LEDs and a diffuser. It can be used as an alarm, Doorbell, or night light and has configurable brightness and color. It has a fully functional illumination sensor that can be used in automations via the Aqara Home app.
