Test the alarm First, HOW TO TEST IT(3 steps):

Step 1: Install the batteries in clean air, then press the test button for five seconds to test the units electronics, beeps will sound if it’s normal;Step 2: Leave it in clean air for one minute;Step 3: Then put it into a sealed bag, spray some CO gas into the bag and seal it. Waiting for about one minute, the Alarm will go off if it’s normal.

[NOTE: DO NOT test it by directly burning something under this alarm, which is an invalid test.]

HOW TO SILENCE THE ALARM

We recommend that you install a smoke alarm on every floor of your home, in hallways, between the sleeping and living areas, and underneath and in the junction of stairs. Install your carbon monoxide alarm in each separate bedroom or sleeping area, garage, and basement.

Test the alarm First:

Step 1: press the test button for 5s (A single silence and test button eliminates confusion and allows you to silence and test the alarm easily)

Step 2: the unit will sound 4 beeps every 5s twice & Red LED flashes & LCD display “000” (3 min), that shows the unit in a normal situation.

Low Power warning:

Carbon Monoxide Alarm alerts you to dangerous carbon monoxide,even in the event of a power outage. IF the alarm is low power,you can find the situation:

Sound:”Chirp” every 30s; LED: Green LED flashes once every 30s & Red LED is flashes; LCD Display: “Ld”
